Our Mission
To provide financial literacy and entrepreneurship education specifically targeted towards teens. By focusing on these areas, we aim to provide the necessary skills to navigate the financial landscape and explore various entrepreneurial opportunities. This will help bridge the gap in knowledge and thereby empower them to make sound choices in the future.
Why?
Did you know that only 23 states require public school students to take a financial literacy program for graduation? Thankfully, that number is starting to grow as you can see below. We believe that Financial Literacy and inspiring entrepreneurship should be available to everyone and is an essential part of education. Take a stand - see our lobbying efforts below.
LOBBYING
We are lobbying to increase the number of states that have financial literacy programs in their high schools. Join us in sending letters to your senators and representatives encouraging them to require financial literacy as requirement for graduation.

ABout Us
During the summer between Junior and Senior year, the idea to start Empower Excellence became a driving force for us. At our high school, we have found financial literacy to be an important part of our education, and have been working as leaders of the social justice club at our school since our freshman year. Upon hearing the statistic of how few states in this country have financial literacy as part of the required curriculum, we were moved to help educate other teens, especially students in underserved communities, expanding the impact we made in our own community nationally.
